Cyber Empower is a youth-driven initiative working to increase computer science education through engaging in-person summer camps customized for the middle school age group. We bring computer science to a younger demographic in order to spark curiosity and exploration of the subject early on.
Furthermore, we work to increase diversity in the future technology workforce by fostering a supportive environment through camps dedicated for girls and students from underrepresented backgrounds. Our efforts will soon span to an international level in order to empower and inspire as many students as possible. Finally, Cyber Empower is completely free of charge because we believe that computer science education should be easily accessible to all.

What makes us so unique?
Our teaching style. We know we are educating middle school students who have no prior experience, so we design our curriculum to best reach our audience. We know what topics may, at first, seem boring, so we create engaging lessons in order for students to truly grasp the coding skills they learn in class. Throughout the camp, we work with the students to implement skills they learn in to fun and meaningful programming projects that excite them. Our camps are places where friendships are forged and new learning happens. In all our surveys, 100% of students stated that this camp was an overall fun and educational experience.
